Julia Lee,
Acquisitions Manager
Julia’s story is truly one of a deep passion. She has a passion for learning, a passion for business and most of all, a passion for people.
Every life is a blessing, every child a prayer. Julia was born in a small village near Guangzhou, China as the eldest of one brother and one sister. As a little child, Julia was highly influenced by her father’s perseverance. Julia was taught to start cooking for her whole family at age 8. She was proud to be the fastest manual seeding person in the rice field at age 12. Julia considered the farm life to be very strenuous. Every villager knew that if their crops didn’t harvest, their whole family would have to starve until the next crop season. Working from 6:00 AM to 12:00 midnight was not uncommon to Julia.
Julia immigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 1988. This drew a turning point in her life. The major challenge was that Julia had a limited grasp of the English language when she first came to Canada. While attending high school, Julia had to work various part time jobs to help pay her family’s mortgage. With lots of time studying English and a little work in Math, Julia was proud to complete high school with academic honours. Her dream was to complete a business degree in University. Sadly, her mother said ‘No, girls don’t need to go to University.’
Julia’s workplace experience runs the gamut from working as a counter person at a dairy bar to working for major Commercial Insurance firms. Her crowning achievement was completion of her CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) designation. It gained her a 12-year tenure with Commercial Underwriting experience. Julia has gained a comprehensive understanding of different building construction methodologies. She has developed the skills to underwrite and evaluate physical and business risks associated with owning a commercial property.
Julia left the commercial insurance industry as she suffered a couple of setbacks from her eye surgery and some herniated discs on her neck. That prompted her to realize the importance of passive income (earning money whether you choose to work or not). After researching a lot of opportunities for passive income, she chose real estate as the key to establishing passive income and financial freedom. Real estate investing is a long term strategy utilizing the profit centers of appreciation and leverage.
Julia spent the next year recreating herself to the highest intellectual level. She invested all her time taking extensive training and coaching in real estate investing education by going to seminars, boot camps, courses, reading books, listening to CD’s, networking and associating with other fellow investors in Canada and the U.S.A.
Julia’s other accomplishments include:
- 1990-1993 awarded nine trophies for BC Secondary School Table Tennis Championships
- 1991 selected to participate in the 1991 BC Winter Games in Cowichan, BC, Canada
- 2001 attained Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
- 2004 attained Life License Qualification Program (LLQP), Part A
- 2004 completed the Canadian Investment Funds Course
- 2007 completed the Building Construction Seminar from Insurance Institute of BC
- 2007 completed the Robert Allen Institute Certified Real Estate Specialist workshop
- 2007 – 2008 completed Multi-Unit, Foreclosure & Pre-Foreclosure, and Innovative Real Estate bootcamps from Robert Allen’s Enlightened Wealth Institute
- 2008 completed Dave Lindahl’s Chunker bootcamp
- 2008 completed Than Merrill’s Marketing & Wholesaling bootcamp
- 2008 completed Wright Thurston’s Apartment Investing & Property Management Home Study Program

Julia loves to inspire and help people. She writes from her heart in the monthly Lynes’ Roar newsletter. She shares her real estate insights, strategies, educational resources and investment opportunities with her readers. She believes sound real estate investments are the best avenues for her to help people who wish to acquire a passive stream of income. Julia is confident to achieve her financial freedom in 10 years and help others reach theirs. |

Daniel Lynes,
Operations Manager
Daniel was born in Hagersville, ON. When he was 6 years old, his family moved to Thunder Bay, Ontario so that they could survive a financial hardship caused by his father’s business failure. His family found their home on a small farm thirty five miles outside of town. It was 199 acres, had 5 acres of arable land, 20 acres of cedar swamp, and backed onto a mountain range. It had all the modern conveniences, a spring-fed well, CB radio, an outhouse (outdoor washroom) and plenty of mosquito bites to keep you warm at night, while you scratched feverishly. With his father’s plumbing and electrical expertise, Daniel was proud to have learned to help build a wood fired sauna and a garage at age 8.
Daniel has had much experience in the building trade working with carpenters, electricians, and heavy equipment operators.
Daniel has been working in the IT and Telecommunications industries for over two decades. Over the years, he has built up many valuable contacts for being able to introduce additional revenue streams to buildings. Daniel has learned creative ways of improving efficiencies of business through automation, leveraging other peoples’ time, and organizational software from the IT industry. From many years working in the telecommunications industry, he has also learned about the data and comms trade, as well as various other trades through observing work being done at various construction sites.
Daniel’s 28-year tenure with IT expertise yields a good contribution to the real estate business. Internet is the wave of our future. Daniel has become an expert on knowing where and how to look for pertinent real estate resources. He knows how to strategecally market their business in the Internet media. He knows how to extensively research for properties, location anchors, economic fundamentals and real estate industry news.
Daniel has also managed a 23 unit apartment building for three years, while he was living in Vancouver for 15 years. With that, he has learned what is needed to manage a building of that size, what the costs involved in maintaining the building are, what some of the big ticket items are and how long they last.
Since Daniel started his courtship with Julia, Daniel has also fallen in love with real estate. Daniel has been devoting his time to this new passion: a real estate investment business.
